Florida baseball will look to continue its unlikely postseason run for one more game and clinch a return trip to the College World Series on Sunday when it faces Clemson in the NCAA Clemson Super Regional in Clemson, S.C.
The Florida Gators (33-28) rallied from three runs down on Saturday to beat Clemson 10-7 in Game 1 of the series before 6,492 at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
With the win, Florida improved to 19-12 all-time against Clemson. The Gators are 134-86 all-time in the NCAA Tournament and 19-8 across 12 Super Regional appearances.
Florida will send lefty Jac Caglianone (5-2, 4.57 ERA) to start Game 2 against Clemson freshman righty Aidan Knack (5-1, 2.96 ERA).
Caglianone sparked UF at the plate in Florida's Game 1 win over Clemson, going 2 for 4 with a home run and 3 RBIs. With 32 home runs on the season and 72 career home runs, Caglianone is just two shy of the UF career record of 74 home runs, set by Matt LaPorta (2004-07).

Cade Kurland draws a one out walk, then moves to second after Jac Caglianone draws an intentional walk after working a 2-0 count. Right fielder Ashton Wilson then was hit by a pitch to load the bases and Colby Shelton delivered a two-RBI single, putting Florida up 5-3. After an 18-minute view review delay following a skirmish involving Florida pitcher Jac Caglianone and Clemson designated hitter Nolan Nawrocki, Clemson first baseman Jack Crighton is ejected for crossing the diamond and getting involved in the altercation. The skirmish began when Caglianone tagged out Nawrocki on a ground out, Nawrocki put his elbow into Caglianone's body on the collision/tag out and Caglianone shoved back, causing both dugouts to empty. Crighton, who doubled in the inning, ran across the field during the scrum. Both benches have been warned as well. Gators 2, Clemson 0 end 2.
